IC 36-5-1-7.1 : Exemption from city consent requirements

Sec. 7.1. The petitioners in a county having a population of more than seventy-nine thousand (79,000) and less than eighty thousand (80,000) are exempt from:

(1) the requirements of section 7(a) of this chapter; and

(2) the requirements of section 7(b) of this chapter if the second or third class city is within a county containing a consolidated city.
