IC 31-30-1-5 : Concurrent original jurisdiction with probate court
Sec. 5. A juvenile court has concurrent original jurisdiction with the probate court in the following proceedings:
(1) Proceedings to commit children under IC 12-26. (2) Proceedings to terminate the parent-child relationship under IC 31-35. However, the juvenile court's jurisdiction is limited as described in IC 12-26-1-4. [Pre-1997 Recodification Citation: 31-6-2-1.1(e).]
